Seeds of Love for Ezra - Loves Grow Here
Who we are
A Dental Community with a united purpose: to sow seeds of love today to bloom a future education and life! Why On March 30, 2021 the Dayton area Dental community lost one of our members, Chelsey R. Vollmer as a result of a fatal vehicular collision. Chelsey’s daughter Ezra was in the vehicle however, she miraculously survived. Chelsey was a bright and talented EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) in the Dayton Dental community, and it is because of this connection that the dental community is uniting to bring this fundraiser to life. Chelsey believed in life, in love, in God and in creating a wonderful future for her child(ren). A bright future that she would have been avidly and full-heartedly involved in while creating wonderful memories. What we are doing To celebrate the life of Chelsey, we wanted to create something that would not only benefit Ezra in the years to come for her future in education, but but also keep the memory of her mother alive and perpetuated. This fundraiser is put in place for Ezra to ensure her future in education. All of the donations and proceeds will go directly to a 529 college account for Ezra to use someday. Our mission Our mission is to make something good for Ezra’s future from something horrific that has happened to someone we hold dear. We are choosing to seek joy and chase it to the ends of the earth to honor the vibrancy in which Chelsey so lived her life. In doing this we will plant the many seeds of love as we go! Along with her memory, her Mother Marsha Gillespie (also involved in the dental community) has planted a memory garden for Chelsey. It is a place for reflection and a place to always be with her. It is a place for solace and comfort and was one of Chelsey’s requests that she had wished to be a tree if the time came to ever leave this earth. The design behind the logo The logo for this fundraiser represents Chelsey’s favorite tree, the Bracken Brown Beauty Magnolia, in Chelsey’s remembrance and cradled within the branches is the love she carried for her daughter Ezra. |
